Overnight Hot
Springs & Wildlife Viewing Tour
Join us for
an unforgettable adventure aboard our
sailboat as we cruise the inlets of the
Great Bear Rain Forest. You may choose to
help raise the sails, learn navigation and
participate in the sailing of our vessel,
or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the
views.
A sailing cruise is a
unique experience where the destinations
are influenced by winds and tides. This
provides the ultimate in relaxation and
peacefulness on the water.
Trips depart from Bella
Coola's Public Wharf at 8:30AM.
Our first stop - Hot
Springs Beach, where we'll have lunch, go
for a swim and kayak up to a huge
waterfall.
Next, we'll head to
beautiful Eucott Bay. Once we've anchored
for the afternoon, you'll have access to
the area's largest, most scenic natural
hot springs tub. We'll kayak up to the
beach, go for a long, hot soak and explore
the sandbars of the estuary.
After dinner, you can
relax aboard the sailboat and watch for
wildlife. Bears are often spotted
wandering the shores of the estuary.
Curious seals and otters may swim right up
to the boat. When it's time to turn in for
the evening, a comfortable bed with down
comforters and fluffy down pillows await
you.
You will awake the next
day to the gentle sounds of water lapping
against the hull, eagles out for their
morning meal and the gentle rocking of our
boat at anchor. After breakfast, and maybe
one last soak, we'll stop at the Noosesick
River Estuary for lunch and wildlife
viewing. It's not uncommon to see bears,
eagles, otters and numerous water birds
here. It's a virtual paradise for
wildlife.
We'll be back in Bella
Coola by 5PM - just in time for dinner!
